Assessment and Grading
Quantification and consideration (1) Students are given a letter grade for each course they take at the end of the semester / year. (2) This grade is given by the lecturer who teaches the course. (3) While evaluating the letter grade, the student's success in courses, midterm / final exams and course attendance are taken into consideration. The calculation of the letter grade is determined by the approval of the relevant academic unit and the Senate. (4) A student's success grade is calculated over 100 points. This score is called the raw success score. (5) A student with a raw success score below 25.00 is directly given an FF grade and the student fails that course. The grade of the student with a raw success score of 25.00 and above is evaluated using the methods determined by the decisions of the University Education Commission and the Senate board; The coefficients and explanations are given below with letter grades. After this evaluation, it is also possible that the raw success scores of 25.00 and above have an FF letter grade.
