Objectives of the Course The aim of lesson; The aim is to enable students to comprehend the methods used in scientific research studies, the stages of the research process, the ethical rules to be considered in research, and to examine and analyze both theoretical and previous research. In addition, it is to enable students to prepare a research report or article by using one or more of the methods used in scientific research on a problem determined for the field of art.
Course Content This course; science, philosophy of science, scientific research processes, scientific research methods, data collection in scientific research, how to analyze data, the concept of ethics in scientific research and ethical violations. It also includes a practical work on preparing an applied scientific article/research proposal on a research topic chosen within the scope of the course.
Course Methods and Techniques Within the scope of the course, methods and techniques such as theoretical instruction, discussion and question–answer sessions, practical activities, case analyses, article reviews, project or mini-research assignments, presentation techniques, and the examination of ethical principles set forth by institutions such as TÜBİTAK, YÖK, and APA are utilized.
