Objectives of the Course The aim of the course is to understand the place and importance of the engraving (intaglio) technique in printmaking art, to examine the artists who worked with the engraving technique throughout history and their works, and to make artistic applications of acidic and acid-free engraving techniques of compositions designed in accordance with the techniques.
Course Content Course Content: The art of printmaking, definition of engraving, history, engraving techniques (acid and acid-free techniques), examination of artist works, printing applications with acid and acid-free techniques.
