Objectives of the Course To be able to comprehend the artistic production techniques (mono printing, linoleum, wood, screen printing, engraving, lithography..) used in the Art of Printmaking, to research the usage areas of the techniques, to learn the screen printing / silk printing / screen printing technique and to analyze the designs with the screen printing technique plastically.
Course Content Printmaking terms, historical development of printmaking, screen printing technique from printmaking techniques, usage areas of the technique, features of the technique and printing applications with black and white stain effect.
Course Methods and Techniques Lecture, research-examination, sketch preparation and conversion into product, demonstration, individual application question-answer
