Objectives of the Course
|
This course aims to comprehensively examine the historical development of Turkish painting art before and after Islam, painting in the Ottoman Empire, the renewal process under Western influence, Turkish painting art in the Republican period, abstract painting after 1950, and the concepts of postmodernism and contemporary art in Turkey.

Painting in pre-Islamic and post-Islamic Turks, painting art in the Ottoman Empire, renewal in Turkish painting under the influence of Western painting, Turkish painting art until the Republican period, Turkish painting art in the Republican era, contemporary Turkish painting art, post-1950 and abstract painting, Yeni Group, Group of Ten, 1968 Generation, art in Turkey in the 2000s, postmodernism and contemporary art in Turkey.
