Objectives of the Course The painting workshop practices, which start from the first semester and continue until the eighth semester, exhibit a four-stage development covering the semesters of second grade, third grade and fourth grade. In the first semester of the first year, the "How is painting made?" The focus is on the question. Visualizations regarding the transfer processes are carried out. This course is an application-oriented course.
Course Content This course encompasses a practical studio process in which students develop still life, portrait, and landscape studies using fundamental painting and drawing techniques such as graphite, pastel, watercolor, and ink wash. Throughout the semester, students work with various materials and subjects while applying principles of light–shadow, proportion, perspective, and composition, thereby strengthening their technical skills, observational abilities, and artistic expression.
