Objectives of the Course It is aimed to comprehend the color subject, one of the basic design elements, and to be able to make effective studies with color in their compositions.
Course Content Color Theory, main and intermediate colors, Light-dark colors, Psychological effects of color, color interactions, Color harmony, Complementary and contrasting colors& application studies, Color Study of an object in natüre, composition, Color composition studies.
Course Methods and Techniques Lecture, research-examination, sketch preparation and conversion into product, demonstration, individual application question-answer

Course Learning Outcomes: Upon the successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

1 Students learn about the formation of color, concepts related to color theory, and the psychological effects of color.
2 Gouache Painting Technique: Learns and applies the characteristics of the technique.
3 Understands and applies color groups.
4 Learn the relations and effects of plain colors with each other,
5 Will learn the effects of light-dark on color,
6 Understand the hot-cold relationship between colors and their visual effects,
7 Learning the balance ratios of the effects of colors related to each other and will have the ability to use the versatile possibilities of colors in their personal expressions consciously.
