Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to develop students' skills in evaluating the phenomenon of art from a historical, cultural, and critical perspective by examining the conceptual foundations of art within philosophical and sociological contexts.
Course Content This course aims to examine the development of art theories and their relationship to contemporary art practices by addressing the transformation of the concept of art within historical, philosophical, and sociological contexts. The course comprehensively explores the definition, function, social role, and critical analysis of art.
Course Methods and Techniques The course is conducted using interactive teaching methods and techniques based on lectures, discussions, text analysis, visual analysis, and student presentations.
