Objectives of the Course To provide students with knowledge about the structural and expressive features of Turkish; to teach topics such as verbs, sentence structure, and expression disorders; to develop clear and effective written expression skills in accordance with spelling and writing rules; to introduce formal correspondence types and different forms of written expression, and to equip students with the competence to practice in these areas.
Course Content Structural and semantic features of verbs, voice in verbs, sentence elements, sentence types and analysis, expression disorders, formal correspondence rules, petition writing, résumé preparation, written expression types, forms of expression, ways of improving thought.
Course Methods and Techniques Expression, observation, debate, listening and interpretation, school assignment.
