Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to enable students to use English as a basic means of communication in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and to support them in achieving the A1+ level learning outcomes by the end of the course.
Course Content This course covers basic grammatical structures, frequently used vocabulary and expressions related to everyday life, and basic functional language use appropriate to the CEFR A1–A1+ level. The course includes integrated listening, speaking, reading, and writing activities based on topics such as greetings and introductions, sharing personal information, occupations, food and drink preferences, sports and exercise activities, daily routines, actions happening at the time of speaking, and basic situations in the past.
Course Methods and Techniques The course is delivered online in English and employs lecture, question-answer, discussion, role play, team/group work, and practice methods and techniques. The learning process is supported by audiovisual and digital materials.
