Objectives of the Course The aim of this course is to enable students to use English as a basic means of communication in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and to support them in achieving the A2 level learning outcomes by the end of the course.
Course Content This course covers grammatical structures, everyday vocabulary and expressions, and functional language use appropriate to the CEFR A2 level. The course includes integrated listening, speaking, reading, and writing activities based on topics such as comparing people, objects, and places, describing people and personality traits, making suggestions and expressing permission, describing places and giving directions, talking about past events and experiences, and discussing future plans and transportation preferences.
Course Methods and Techniques The course is delivered online in English and employs lecture, question-answer, guided practice, discussion, role play, individual work, pair and group work, and short speaking activities. The learning process is supported by audiovisual and digital materials as well as interactive online exercises.
